Make My Week Better

Image
Things That Make My Week Better This week was my second week at my **New Job** at the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center.  A job filled with small children, wildlife, bad taxidermy, and khaki cargo pants not by choice.  http://www.otterpointcreek.org Like us on Facebook! The ladies I work with would love you forever.  This is not my dream job, it is a good job to practice my public speaking skills though... as in a yelled at a group of homeschool children in my nice babysitting phone voice  (we all have one) and the parents responded by telling me that they didn't like rules because they believe that constricts a child's ability to grow. Sorry ma'am not here, not in my work place. I will assert my dominance with my power khaki pants.  (Don't worry I will share some pictures of that soon, they make up for themselves by making my ass look fine)  Number One.  Podcasts. I stopped I never really listened to podcasts until recently. This is because I truly do

Relationships are not one size fits all.

After speaking with one of my best-friend-soul-sister-pre-puberty-friends this last week about relationships I feel that I have something important to say... LADIES PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD (wine, cheese, puppies)  PLEASE LISTEN TO ME WHEN I SAY... Make sure you are dating one of your best friends by that I mean that our relationships with our significant others should reflect the relationship with have with our best friends.  Now let me explain myself.  I am not a relationship expert, I just have had some experience in the trial and error department.  I love my boyfriend, I do not like him all the time.  I love my best friends, I do not like them all the time.  Now. That being said I strongly believe that too many young women are looking for that hopeless romantic that we see in the movies. But LADIES PLEASE, relationships are not like sisterhood of the traveling pants. What looks good on one girl is NOT going to feel right on you.
